Do I need to convert Excel to CSV first?
No — drop the .xlsx file straight into the box above. The converter reads
Excel workbooks natively, so there is no Save As CSV step and nothing gets lost to encoding
or delimiter quirks on the way. (.csv, .tsv and .txt

What if my workbook has several sheets?
The converter reads the first sheet of the workbook — the leftmost tab in Excel. If your contacts live on another sheet, drag that sheet to the front (or move it with right-click → Move or Copy), save, and drop the file in again.
What column headers are recognized automatically?
The guesser understands the usual suspects in English: name, full name, first/last name, organization/company, title/job title, email/e-mail, phone/mobile/cell/tel, address/city/state/zip/country, website/url, birthday/birthdate, and notes. Anything unrecognized is set to "ignore" and can be mapped by hand — nothing is lost silently.
Can I map several email or phone columns?
Yes. vCard contacts can carry any number of email addresses and phone numbers, so the mapping lets you point as many columns as you like at Email or Phone — each becomes its own EMAIL/TEL entry in the exported vCard.
Will my iPhone, Android or Gmail import the .vcf?
Yes. The converter produces a standards-compliant vCard 3.0 file — the
version with the widest import support. On iPhone, email the .vcf to yourself
or open it from Files and tap it; on Android, open it with the Contacts app; in
Gmail/Google Contacts use Import. All contacts in the file are imported in one go.

Is my Excel file uploaded anywhere?
No. The spreadsheet is read and the vCard is generated entirely by JavaScript in your browser tab — the data never crosses the network. Verify it in the Network tab of your developer tools: the only requests are page loads, an anonymous usage counter (counts only, never content), and license validation for paid users. Details in the privacy policy.
I already paid but lost my license key — what do I do?
Your key is shown on your Gumroad receipt, emailed to you right after checkout — search your inbox for "Gumroad" and open the receipt to copy it. Then click "Enter license key" in the top navigation to re-activate batch export.
