What is an ICS (iCalendar) file?
A .ics file is an iCalendar — the standard format for exchanging calendar
events. Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook and every scheduling tool export events as
.ics. One file can hold a whole calendar of events, but it is a text format meant
for apps, not for reading as a table — that is what this converter is for.
How do I convert ICS to CSV or Excel?

Which event fields are exported?
Summary (title), start and end times, location, description, UID, status (confirmed/tentative/cancelled) and the raw recurrence rule (RRULE) for repeating events. Reminder alarms (VALARM) are intentionally skipped — they rarely matter in a spreadsheet. Recurring events appear once, with their rule; the export does not expand every occurrence.
What happens to time zones and all-day events?
Times are kept exactly as written in the file, with the time zone (TZID) shown next to them — no silent conversion, so an event recorded as 09:00 Europe/Berlin reads as 09:00 (Europe/Berlin), not some shifted UTC value. All-day events are marked as such and keep their plain dates.
Is it safe to convert my calendar here?
Yes — by construction. The file is read and converted entirely by JavaScript running in your browser; it is never transmitted. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools (Network tab), load a file, and watch — no file bytes are sent anywhere. The only requests this site makes are page loads, an anonymous usage counter (counts only, never content), and license validation for paid users. Details in the privacy policy.

I already paid but lost my license key — what do I do?
