1. The service

VCardConvert ("the service") is a web tool that converts contact and calendar files directly in your browser: vCard (.vcf) to CSV/Excel, spreadsheets to vCard, iCalendar (.ics) to CSV/Excel, and spreadsheets to iCalendar — singly or in batches. The files themselves never leave your device — all parsing and file generation happen locally in your browser.

2. Accuracy disclaimer — you must verify the output

Real-world contact and calendar files vary (older vCard versions, app-specific quirks, unusual date formats). The converter is best-effort: contact photos are reported but not exported to the spreadsheet, calendar reminder alarms are skipped, and recurring events keep their recurrence rule rather than being expanded into individual occurrences. You are responsible for reviewing the output against your original files before relying on it — especially before deleting or overwriting the originals. We are not liable for decisions based on exported output.

3. No professional advice

The service is a file-format utility. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, or other professional advice. An exported file is a convenience copy, not a certified record.

4. License terms

Converting, previewing and single-file exports are free. A paid license ($9.99, one-time) grants one user a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to unlimited batch exports, forever — it does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. You may not share, resell, or redistribute license keys. Abuse of a key (e.g. public posting) may result in deactivation without refund.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the service only for files you are authorized to possess, and for lawful purposes. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the service or misrepresent it.

6. Intellectual property

The service, its design, and its code are our property. Your contacts, calendars and spreadsheets — and everything in them — remain entirely yours. vCard and iCalendar are open IETF standards; "Excel" is a trademark of Microsoft; this independent tool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Google or Microsoft.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time; since the paid license is lifetime, if we discontinue the service we will refund purchases made in the 12 months before discontinuation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $9.99, whichever is greater). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.

9. Refunds

If a paid license does not work for your files, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Because the converter is free to test with your actual files before buying, refunds outside this window are at our discretion.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
